Golden crinoid Davidasterrubiginosa (Pourtalès, 1869)
Description: This feather star has up to twenty arms. The color of the arms ranges from golden or orange via greenish to black with golden tips on the side branches. Size: the arms can reach up to 25 cm.
Habitat: It lives on the reefs. The animal hides in recesses or sponges, only exposing the arms. Depth: ranges from 10 m down to 40 m.
Distribution: Common all over the Caribbean.
