Description: Colonies form highly, tangled networks of fine branches that contour to the substrate. Colonies do not protrude more than a few cm above the substrate.
Color: Shades of gray to brown.
Habitat: Inhabit shaded areas and recessed wall faces, down to 75 m.
Distribution: Occasional to uncommon Florida; common Bahamas and Caribbean.
