(Quoy and Gaimard, 1833)

A. mauritiana is a sea cucumber with patches of light chestnut brown and white - usually white below (size to 200 mm). It is densely covered with tube feet and has 25 or more tentacles. The spicules include large rough rods (A. mauritiana spicules). A. mauritiana is found on reefs in exposed habitats.
